By 2025, organizations in retail, industry, and logistics faced major challenges: customers increasingly demand faster service, costs must be reduced, and the aging population is increasing, making it difficult to find workers.
These organizations had only one option: work smarter and more effectively. At Dalosy, we also received many questions, such as: How can we optimize our processes with new technology? How can we maximize the use of our existing equipment? And how can we further improve our mobile device management and service contracts?
To address these challenges, organizations have invested heavily in maximum support, optimal device management, and effective service contracts. Together, we critically examined the right balance between new and existing equipment. Clear management reports provided insight, enabling decisions to be made based on figures and facts.
There’s a lot of interest in workflow automation. With a solution like Workcloud Sync, companies can better align their processes and devices. This reduces error rates and wait times, and increases productivity.
In logistics, we’re also seeing a lot of interest in various new technologies we’ve implemented, such as fixed scanning and dock door solutions. These solutions automatically read barcodes while a forklift simply drives through a loading door. No more stopping, aiming, or checking: the technology does the work. Within seconds, you know if the correct label is present, if the pallet is correct, and where it needs to go.
At Dalosy, we’re pleased with these developments because critical questions keep us on our toes. They compel us to continually seek ways to alleviate pressure points and invest in improvements that pay off.
By 2026, the pressure on staff will become even greater. Organizations will have even fewer hands on deck. Even more employees will reach retirement age or be unavailable.
We’ll see a shift from connectivity to intelligence; from connecting to understanding. Smarter devices with AI-driven data analysis will emerge. These devices will help organizations make faster decisions. Customers want to know immediately whether a product is available in-store; logistics companies need to send packages from A to B incredibly quickly, at lower costs. These solutions can help. They enable optimization of picking routes based on real data and faster and more efficient workload distribution. With these new capabilities, we can more closely integrate hardware, software, and services.
Aside from the explicit focus on optimization, our customers are strongly focused on sustainability. This is a completely different aspect of our business that we’re passionate about. We proactively consider lifecycle management, repair optimization, refurbishment programs, lifecycle extension, and reducing the environmental footprint without compromising performance.
Dalosy is changing with us, even in 2026
While 2025 was primarily about acceleration, 2026 will be all about intelligence, integration, and stability. And we will, of course, continue to evolve with it. Behind the scenes, we’re working on a new look and exciting developments that perfectly align with our ambitions and enable us to serve our customers even better and more broadly.
